The short version
- We say what each product is for, and just as plainly what it is not for.
- Where children are involved, a parent or carer holds the controls.
- Our products support professional judgement. They do not replace it.
- If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
Our commitment
Some of what we build sits close to things that matter a great deal: children, classrooms, counselling rooms, wellbeing and safety-critical work. That asks for care, and for being exact about scope. These commitments apply to everything Murphee Limited makes.
- Clear about scope. Every product says what it is for and what it is not for, before you start using it.
- Support, not substitute. Nothing we make is medical, clinical, legal or engineering advice, and nothing replaces a qualified professional’s judgement or responsibility.
- Practice is practice. Where a product uses fictional people or scenarios, we say so. It is not therapy, not treatment and not accreditation.
- Honest about maturity. Pilots and previews are labelled as such, and we do not claim results we have not measured.
Children
Where a product is made for children, an adult is in charge. A parent or carer sets it up and chooses the settings, and privacy-sensitive and AI features start switched off. Murphee looks after the space and keeps it age-appropriate, and parents receive short heads-ups about how things are going, never a feed of what their child read or said. We build for trust, not surveillance of a child. We do not ask children for information on this website.
If something is wrong
If you see something in one of our products that is unsafe, inappropriate or simply wrong, email hello@murphee.one. Put “Safeguarding concern” in the subject if it involves a child, and we will treat it as a priority. A person reads every message.
